Mario Ruiz
Mario Ruiz (Alicante, 1965) is an industrial designer who studied at Elisava (Barcelona). In 1995, he founded his design studio in Barcelona.
Since then, he has developed projects for international companies in technology, furniture, lighting and office design, as well as applied graphics, with ventures into interior design and ephemeral architecture. Between 1992 and 2002, he taught Industrial Design Projects at Eina and Elisava.
More info.His work has been exhibited at trade fairs across Europe and Japan and has received more than 40 awards. In 2016, he was awarded Spain’s National Design Award, alongside distinctions including the Silver Delta (ADI-FAD), Red Dot, iF, Design Plus and Wallpaper awards. He has given talks in Tokyo, Singapore, New York, Dubai, London and Chicago.
