PUNT was founded in 1980 with the aim of bringing together design, craft and a distinctive way of understanding furniture. From the outset, every piece is conceived to be useful, expressive and enduring.

Punt, which means “point” in Valencian, is exactly that: the beginning of something. A place from which to start, draw lines, trace paths and imagine new forms.
Since 1980, that point has been the origin of a singular way of understanding furniture: pieces that answer a function while bringing beauty and emotion, becoming part of the identity of spaces and those who inhabit them.
Founded in Valencia by Vicent Martínez and Lola Castelló, Punt began with a determined commitment to design at a time when it was still finding its place. More than a company, it was a vital project from the start, driven by passion, sensitivity and the desire to do things differently. A philosophy in which craft, material and attention to detail are essential to our way of working.
Today, Punt is an international design company with distribution around the world. More than four decades later, we continue to combine artisanal know-how, respect for materials and innovation to create contemporary, singular furniture designed to last.

Vicent Martínez creates La Literatura
La Literatura turns limited space into a mobile solution. Vicent Martínez’s double bookcase system on wheels becomes a PUNT emblem and a contemporary classic.

Terence Woodgate creates the River collection
- 1997
National Design Award
The National Design Award recognises PUNT’s career and its contribution to design culture. It marks the value of bringing industry, creativity and craft together.

Terence Woodgate creates the Sussex collection
Sussex extends the dialogue between PUNT and Terence Woodgate. The collection reflects a shared pursuit of precise forms, honest materials and solutions made to last.

Wallpaper Award
The Wallpaper Award brings further international recognition to PUNT’s journey. The company’s Spanish design gains a broader presence and resonance beyond its borders.
- 2012
Mario Ruiz creates the Stockholm collection
Stockholm, designed by Mario Ruiz, brings the cabinetmaking tradition into a contemporary language. Precise lines and crafted wood define a calm, recognisable collection.
- 2015
Red Dot Award
The Red Dot Award confirms PUNT’s international reach and the continued relevance of its design approach. Function, proportion and material care remain at the centre.
- 2016
Mónica Armani creates the Amor Cortese collection
Mónica Armani brings Amor Cortese to the PUNT catalogue. The collection balances restrained lines, a warm presence and a form of comfort designed to accompany everyday life.

Interior Design Best of Year Award
The Interior Design Best of Year Award recognises a new expression of PUNT’s work. The distinction reinforces a journey built through collaboration and rigour in every detail.

Rodolfo Dordoni creates the Firenze and Lucca collections
Rodolfo Dordoni designs Firenze and Lucca for PUNT. Two collections that combine a clear architectural presence with warm detailing and understated elegance.
